Learning style assessment
My learning style is visual. I mostly have to see and write down information in order to learn it. I think that I am a visual and assignment learner because when I write things down as notes I have to look over it a couple of times in order to remember and learn it. Sometimes I forget what I wrote down or learned and have to look back over it to remind myself what I wrote down. I understand that I’m not an listener type learner because I’m not the listener type. I say that because when I do listen I forget what was said and I forget it very quickly. I really know that I’m a visual learner because when my mom give me directions I always ask her to show a demonstration
True colors assessment
My true color is primary gold. Gold is the color of the organized and trustworthy people. They can also be counted on, on jobs and can be helpful. Gold respect the law and its authority. They also like to establish and maintain policies, procedures and schedules. People with this color have strong sense of wrong and Wright. They are parental and dutiful. Good with things that require organization, dependability and management. Believes that work comes before play and is the back bone of any group. Major personality traits are natural talents and expressed. All those traits are correct about me. All my friends say that I’m the type that you wouldn’t want to lose.
Assignment 3--o*net online
I have chosen a lot of skills. My basic skills are active learning and active listening. My complex problem solving skills are complex problem solving. My resource management skills are management of personnel resources and time management. My social skills that I have chosen are system analysis. Last but not least my technical skills are installation, programming and technology design. For my summary report I have chosen producers and sales marketing. For my producing I should do plan and coordinate various aspects of radio or picture motion production. A few samples would be producer, new producer and radio producer. I have a total of 10 tasks and will name 3 I would do one is coordinate the activities of writers, directors, managers and other personnel throughout the production process. Another one is conduct meetings with staff to discuss production progress. Some of the information I should know is knowledge, skills, abilities, work activities and work context. One that fall under the knowledge row is communication and media. One of the skills is time management. one of  the abilities is near vision. Work activities would be getting information and work context would be electronic mail.
lesson 4 power point presentation
I learned many things from the PowerPoint presentation such as the requirements needed in order to be a engineer. some are desire, hard work and education. The education you need is math, science, engineering technology and English. Mostly you will need good work ethic, leadership skills and training beyond high school. Training beyond high school require technical school-2 years and college 4 years. There are many engineering jobs such as engineer technologist technician architect drafter cartographer surveyor pneumatics and hydraulics. You also have some such as electrical, mechanical, graphic designer, and electrical controls there are many more in the engineering foundation. There are many differences between an engineer, an technologist, and a technician. What an engineer does is plans, designs, supervise, manufactures, testing, and installation. A technologist develop systems, provide technical perverse, write technical reports and keep record. A technician does the most work and this is a few assist engineers does research, works on various types of equipments and write technical reports and many more. You cannot be a engineer if you do not have a four year college degree.
Lesson 5 survey #1
My top interest areas is artistic and social. I love being artistic and I love being social in some ways. The most artistic thing I like to do is draw things. I’m not that good at drawing but I try hard to learn because I wouldn’t mind working as an artistic drawer or graphic designer. I am a social person because I also wouldn’t mind being a teacher or a substitute teacher because I respect the fact that kids in elementary, middle and high school student just like to have fun. The only problem I have is the fact that I don’t like to work in groups because I’m more of an individual learner. Another thing is I’m also not naturally communication but I do talk a lot. The best thing I like about being social is that I love to coach sports such as basketball, football and track and field. I have a lot of careers to choose from but there is many that I don’t agree with such as actor, dancer, director of religious activities, choreographer, clergy, model, child care/aide worker, interpreter/translator, mental health councilor and many more. Some of the rest I do agree with is true such as music director, middle school teacher, elementary school teacher and also many more. The only reason I wouldn’t be an kindergarten teacher is because some kids cry a lot when they miss their parents and some don’t know how to listen when you tell them certain things.
Lesson 6– meet engineering students
One of the engineering students is joy Barrett. Her engineering field is chemical engineering and physics. She is a member of the national service sorority as well as national society for black engineers. She also work for a chemist for a nuclear company. The college she went to was Tuskegee university.
The second person is ebony pierce. The college she went to was Dillard university. Her engineering field is mechanical and physics. Ebony became an engineer because she love to work and she love to make them smile and she feel most accomplished.
The third person is Tamara cot tam and her engineering field is aerospace engineering. The college she went to is university of Alabama, Huntsville. She decided to do aerospace engineering because every since she was younger she was interested in space and the night sky. She also became interested in the technologies man design to utilize and study space.
The fourth person is Brian wybrecht. The college he went to is Michigan state university and his engineering field is civil engineering. When Brian was younger he loved to play with legos and he played with thousands of them. His teacher said that he should consider engineering.
Lesson 6--article1 & article2
The first article I will be doing is defying gravity. I chose this article because I like to ride roller coasters and  I would like to design one of my own. I learned that roller coasters get higher and faster every year. The highest roller coaster so far is 418 ft tall. The roller coaster can go as fast as 3.5 sec. they make their roller coaster using gravity and momentum so they would know how much weight they would need and what tools. If I make an roller coaster it would be in Atlanta Georgia at six flags over Georgia and it would be 500 ft tall and it would be the most terrifying and heart dropping roller coaster ever.
My next article would be on designing new vehicles. I would love to design a new vehicle because I love the way some cars look. My favorite car is the Mercedes Benz because I like the way it look. The article I read said that cars that uses no steering wheel is only a decade away and if that is true that mean that  by the time I get out of college it would already be done and happening. I would be very excited and will be happy for my family and friends who can experience that new technology. Those are my engineering articles that i would choose.
Lesson 7-- bls
The job I have chosen is musician. Musicians play or and sing music. Some perform solo and some are in groups. They mostly make their music in studios and perform their songs on stage at concerts and parties they also perform on movies and on television. Some musicians travel all over the country and world for tours. They all don’t spend their time on music only sometimes they have to practice and rehearse for videos. Some musicians have music directors to lead the choirs. Arrangers also known as composers change the song if needed for example they can change jazz to rock. Most musicians work indoors and some work outdoors. The same go for concerts. Most musicians work at night or on the weekends. Some musicians work part time so they can be doing work while waiting on their next performance. Musicians work and live everywhere in the united states going to many other studios.
One of the main way to get ready to be an musicians is that you have to the talent and some should know how to play the instrument. Some play the piano, guitar, violin and the drums. Some write their songs on a computer for technical help. Some musicians use dancers and actors in their music videos. To start early you could join a school band or orchestra and that could help very well. Another way you could join a recreation center band or chorus. You could also help yourself to sing in front of friends and family so that you wouldn’t be scared to sing in front of people and strangers. Or you can perform at parties, family reunion and weddings. Musicians have to be comfortable performing in front of lots of people. The payments of the job depend on how popular the performer is. Most performers work for themselves. 50 percent of musicians work for themselves. Their earnings vary greatly and depend on how many jobs they can get. Others work for organizations. Self paid musicians perform at variety of events and venues.
There are many jobs when it comes to being a musician. You can be a musician, singer, composer and music directors and many other jobs. Competition to be a musician is very strong and not easy.
Lesson 8– college technical training
The first college I gave chosen is Georgia college. Georgia college is located in 231 w. Hancock street in Milledgeville Georgia 31061. the type of school it is, is a university public school. Their year established is 1889 and they program is a 4 year under graduate school. They have 6,670 students that go their and they also have no religion affiliation. They also have an coeducation institution and became that way in 1967. they are located in a large town and application fee is $35. here are the quick codes sat-5252, act number-828, fasfa number- 001602, fiche number-1602.georgia college is a Georgia public liberal arts university. It has became one of the southeast most competitive universities with freshmen sat scores and grade point averages significantly higher than the national average. Gc offer an educational experience usually found at private colleges. The Georgia house of representatives found it as a college in 1889 as a all female college. In 1967 it became a regional coeducational college for everyone.
In 1996 it was assumed a non-regional college until it was changed. My next college i have chosen is Georgia tech. Georgia tech is located in 631 cherry street Atlanta ga. 30332-0321. Georgia tech is mostly a technology school and it is a institute of technology is one of the nations top research universities. distinguished by commitment to improving the human condition though advanced science and technology. Georgia tech is consistently ranked in us news and world reports top ten public universities in the united states.
Lesson 9 resume activity

You have heard the expression "First impressions are lasting ones." Well, your resume is the first meeting between you and a prospective employer more often now than ever. So, how do you want to be remembered? Wrinkled and unorganized. Neat and structured. Long and boring. Precise and interesting. Companies do not have the time to interview every applicant that is interested in the job. If they did, there would not be a company to work for. They use an eliminating process. That's right - resumes.
The average employer spends only 10 seconds looking at a resume. Yet it is the only contact you have with the potential employer. Most employers are actually looking for a reason NOT to interview you. There is no room for anything but a flawless, compelling document that reflects who you are and what you've accomplished in the most beneficial light. In this increasingly competitive job market, you must have a professionally crafted resume in order to stand out among the hundreds of job seekers applying for the same position as you-it's no longer an option. Is your homemade resume ready to make the cut? You work hard everyday. You've spent years acquiring the skills needed to outperform the competition-and make no mistake about it-this is a competition. Don't let a single mistake misrepresent years of hard work. Remember, only 10 seconds can decide your future. Regardless of your professional and educational background, your career will be summed up in the blink of an eye on a single piece of paper. Communicating your qualifications effectively is harder than you think. The purpose of your resume is to make a good first impression, and if you cannot achieve this goal, then your chances of an interview are virtually impossible
